A short intro

Jamie talks you through the company, the role and who we're hoping to meet.

01 / Why the company

Every company is adopting AI. Few can show what is actually happening.

AI is becoming part of how organisations work, but most leadership teams still lack a clear view of how it is being used across the business. They want evidence that AI is being used safely, that policies are being followed, and that the investment is delivering value. The company gives them that visibility continuously.

What the product does
The product helps large organisations understand, manage and govern their use of AI. It brings together a view of where AI is being used across the business, checks that use against the organisation's own policies, and surfaces the things that need attention. Where action is needed, issues can be flagged or escalated, and the organisation keeps a clear record of what happened.
Why it is hard
AI is spreading through organisations quickly. New tools appear constantly, employees are using them in different ways, and more workflows are being built around them. Traditional governance was not designed for this. Companies can have a clear policy on paper without knowing whether it is actually being followed day to day.
Who is buying it
Large, regulated and complex organisations, where getting AI governance wrong carries real consequences. These buyers already have significant AI use across the business and need to understand what is happening, manage the risks and give leadership confidence that AI is being used responsibly.
Traction
The company is venture backed and past its earliest stage, with a growing team and a product in live use. It is already contracting with large, regulated and complex organisations.
02 / The role

Founding Account Executive.

This is a new-business sales role. You will own a personal target, build your own pipeline and take enterprise opportunities from first conversation through to negotiation and close. You'll have two BDRs supporting you, alongside direct involvement from the founders. There is already early traction, but no established sales playbook. Your job is to win customers and help establish what works.

What you will do

  • -Develop and execute a focused new-business approach across large enterprise organisations.
  • -Build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities from your own network and outbound activity.
  • -Own enterprise opportunities from first conversation through to negotiation and close.
  • -Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, working closely with two BDRs and the founders.
  • -Win customers in an emerging category where there is no established sales playbook.
  • -Turn early customer wins into long-term relationships and repeatable sales.

You'll thrive here if

  • -You have a strong track record of winning new business in enterprise sales.
  • -You have a background in cybersecurity, AI or a closely related technology environment, and understand the buyers and problems you are selling into.
  • -You are a genuine hunter who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and progressing complex deals.
  • -You are comfortable selling a new category without an established brand, playbook or obvious route to market.
  • -You have worked in an early-stage business and want the opportunity to help build the sales team as the company grows.

You will need to be living in the UK already. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

03 / Interview process

The interview process.

The process has three stages, designed to give you a clear view of the role and the people you would be working with.

01 Founder interviewOne hour, video
A conversation with the two co-founders. They will want to understand what you have sold, how you sold it and the deals you have won. Expect them to go into detail on your numbers, your approach and how you would sell the product at this stage. References will also be taken.
02 The case studyOne hour, live
A short exercise that is briefed at the start of the call and worked through together. There is nothing to prepare beforehand. The aim is to understand how you approach selling something unfamiliar, how you identify the opportunity and how you communicate the value to a potential customer.
03 Panel interview30 to 60 minutes
A conversation with an investor representative who supports the company's commercial strategy. The discussion will cover territory, qualification, forecasting and how you would approach building new business here.
